Geffrye Museum

Today I went to the Geffrye Museum looking for inspiration for a book project titled Cataloging Collections.

Zine

This week I made a zine on the theme of repetition. On Sunday, on the look out for materials, I bought an illustrated book on animals from Brick Lane Market. With the theme of the zine being repetition, I made patterns by photocopying some of the animals then arranging them to make patterns. The pages were then Japanese Stab bound. I really enjoyed this one day project and is something I'd like to keep working on to produce more complex patterns.

Bookbinding

Bookbinding workshop at Chelsea. The techniques that were taught in this class differed from the ones I had learnt at FIT in New York last semester. This is a starting point for our new briefs which are all about books, magazines and publishing.
